First Congregational Church of Georgetown, MA

The purpose of the Nominating Committee's ministry is to present willing candidates, at the church's Annual Congregational Meeting, to serve in church officer positions, and as members of church boards/committees, and as coordinators.  We ask the congregation to vote on those candidates.

To accomplish this, the committee considers the talents and interests within the church membership for church officer positions, and the Diaconate (those persons charged with assisting in pastoral duties).  We include those outside of membership for coordinators of various tasks, and positions on remaining standing committees/boards.
