Church Cabinet
The Cabinet is the governing board for all Church Officers, Boards, Committees, and Coordinators. The Cabinet is made up of:
- The Corporate Officers
- The Chair and the Clerk of the Diaconate
- Chairs of the following Boards and Committees:
- Board of Christian Education
- Board of Trustees
- Finance Committee
- Music Committee
- Nominating Committee
- Pastoral Relations Committee
- Safe Church Committee
- Any Special purpose committees and positions created by the Cabinet
- Missions Coordinator
- Church Delegate Coordinator
- Flower Coordinator
- Social Coordinator
- Ushering Coordinator
- Presidents or Chairs of all organizations sanctioned by the Cabinet
The Corporate Officers are:
- The Pastor and Teacher (previously and hereinafter referred to as the Pastor) who is an ordained minister, preferably with a UCC background, to be chosen and called by the Church whenever a vacancy occurs
- The Moderator (Chair of the Cabinet) who is elected from the Church Membership at each Annual Meeting and serves until a successor is chosen
- The Clerk of the Corporation who is elected from the Church Membership at each Annual Meeting to serve until a successor is chosen
- The Treasurer of the Corporation who is elected from the Church Membership at each Annual Meeting to serve until a successor is chosen
- The Collector for the Corporation who is elected from the Church Membership at each Annual Meeting to serve until a successor is chosen
